Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do if I am absent?
What we do every day is listed on this website. In fact, some (if not all) presentations and handouts are even linked to this website. Check on your class's tab above for a complete list of each day's lesson. Ask a fellow classmate.
What is your turn-in policy?
I accept all late work until the end of the quarter.
Can I retake a test or redo an assignment?
Yes! It is up to you to approach Ms. Lesher to turn it in or make an appointment before or after school to retake the test.
How can I challenge my student at home?
Encourage reading and writing at home. Check out my Reading tab on my website for resources.
How can I get my student to read?
Encourage your student to read.... anything! Even magazines, newspaper articles, etc. Check out the reading tab for many resources on good books to read. Also, make sure you're reading too--kids notice if their parents/guardians read and it will have a direct impact on their reading attitude.
